THE ADVENTURES OF PETER P-M

Visited White Hart, Ninefield and met owner and landlord Sean Spilllett who said he was keeping beer prices low to attract drinkers. Roosters Farmers Ale and Harvey BB were on with a polypin of Harveys BB for customers to serve themselves at £1.60 yes £1.60! Both Roosters and Harveys were in excellent form. He had got hold of some Cask Ale Week promotional stuff from CAMRA and was really pleased Alison and I had called in.

We trained up to Robersbridge and walked to the Halt and were greeted with Dark Star Saison and American Pale Ale and Harveys BB - both D S beers were in excellent form and at £2.60. Andy, Ogie, said he had ordered Thornbrige Jaipur IPA but was still very pleased with his Sussex direct delivered beers. Onto George and Harveys BB and Rother Valley Copper Ale, again both were excellent. Landlord John said he was intending to put a third beer on, possibly form 1648 as trade seems to continue to increase.

Two Sawyers had Harveys BB and Old, last barrel, and Ringwood 49 (good to see something a little stronger being tried!).The Oakwood Cider was also in excellent condition! Alison had a pint at 8.2% so lucky I was driving.
